The aaidd is celebrating its 150th year as the nation's oldest and largest interdisciplinary membership organization of professionals and other concerns with the lives of people who experience intellectual and developmental distinctions. The Meeting will provide a forum for researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and advocates to come together to explore opportunities, strategies, and challenges related to technological progress made in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The National Organization for Human services has been in existence since 1975 with sole purpose of enhancing the quality of human services and promoting excellence within the profession. We are mission aligned. Every year, the NOHS national conference brings some of the finest and most dedicated human service professionals together for one reason: excellence! it promises to be an inspiring event this year.
At the beautiful conference center at Wildhorse Pass in gorgeous Chandler AZ, the Institute for Human Development at Northern Arizona University will be showcasing their 2026 Evidence for Success Conference. Keynote speakers Daniel Wendler, PsyD, and Pamela Rae Schuller . Topics will include Neurolink Brain Computer interface and Generative AI discussions that will enlighten and help the IDD community prepare for the robotics age in human service delivery systems.
As an international organization, IASSIDD promotes the scientific study of intellectual disabilities and related developmental disabilities and of conditions of persons with these disabilities and their families. Their 2026 European Congress will be held in beautiful Munich, Germany, and features researchers, self-advocates, and professionals in the IDD field from around the world. Don't miss it!!
